Fresh appeal over ‘Disappeared’

This weekend marks the 40th anniversary of the disappearance of Columba McVeigh.

Columba is one the 16 so called disappeared, those killed by the IRA during the troubles and buried in remote unknown locations, so far 12 of the 16 have been found.

An appeal for information is being made this morning by the Commission overseeing efforts to find the bodies.

I spoke to Columba McVeigh’s sister, Dympna Kerr from  Merseyside in England about her brother’s disappearance.
